• Physical Description:–

Zoey is described as gorgeous and attractive by her peers and rightfully so. She has all the features of a classical beauty like her thin arched nose, curved delicate lips, high cheekbones and a soft jawline. Her feminine charms owing to her mother paired with fierce icy blue eyes, thick arched brows and a tall athletic stature from her father, make her stand out amongst the crowd. Although she’s a natural brunette, Zoey likes to keep her hair dyed platinum blonde styled with a side parting.

A fashion aficionado, Zoey knows how to present herself and flaunt her beauty. Her go to fashion choice is basics paired with accessories or a creative match of print and basics. She does not shy away from other varieties of fashion and loves experimenting.

• Personality and talents:-

It is easy to misunderstand Zoey from how intimidating she may seem and that leads to insecurity. Insecurity leads to jealousy and jealousy leads to gossip which Zoey has been a target of since young. In order to cope with this environment, Zoey adapted the very personality people accused her of. She appears selfish, snobby, insensitive and arrogant due to her harsh remarks and snarky comments. When Zoey realises she has magical powers, it leads to her questioning everything and severely shakes her confidence making her even more guarded and emotionally unstable around people bringing out the worst in her. In high school, she instigated fights and bullied Megan, however, this changes when the girls meet again in their high school reunion.

After starting their sorority group recruit, Zoey becomes a lot softer. She accepts changes and her real personality starts to shine after she realises she’s surrounded by people who see her for who she really is. In truth, zoey is extremely kind and loyal. She has an incredible eye for beauty and is highly intuitive. She may not be book smart like Megan but she stands equally in wit and sharpness.

Zoey is a business major. She believes in right marketing as she already knows how to make her clothes work. From casual wear to gorgeous ball gowns, or advice on skin care, hair or makeup, you can leave it all to her. At first glance, her major may come as a surprise but it becomes apparent that her brain is equipped to be a master entrepreneur. She possesses a natural charm that captures attention and can multitask. She understands the risks to take and how much it takes to invest.

In her free time, Zoey enjoys surfing in Malibu where her parents bought her a penthouse as a gift. Despite the lavish lifestyle, she prefers to give rather than take and loves giving gifts out to the people she cares about. Zoey also enjoys poetry and often joins Tomo in her studio where the two discuss art.

• Relationships:-

– Parents:- Zoey isn’t exactly close with her parents but they respect each other. Ever since she was a kid, her parents were always busy with work or attending parties. She would be forced into situations involving interactions with a lot of rich adults which she despised. Her parents trust her with the pocket money she gets and would fund her until her marriage but she starts working to be financially independent as soon as possible. She’s closer to her father. Her mother has a slightly overbearing presence but Zoey tries her best for her.

– Siblings:- Zoey has an older brother who she doesn’t talk much about. It is unclear if it’s because he is absent in her family or if she prefers not to talk about him.

– Megan:- When Megan approached Zoey in the reunion with the same calm demeanor she possessed 7 years ago, it left Zoey perplexed. After all, how can a person be so unfazed in front of someone who hurt them? Reluctantly, she agreed to work with Megan out of fear of getting exposed, regret and guilt is what mostly bound her with Megan but gradually she comes to appreciate her efforts and respect her more. At times, Zoey can sense Megan’s discomfort and subtle passive aggressiveness. Understanding Megan’s neurotic behaviour, Zoey gives her space but it leads to more misunderstandings. Despite their past, Zoey trusts Megan for her honesty and vision.

– The group:- As an extrovert, Zoey likes to arrange welcome parties for new members and vacation trips often regardless of Megan’s approval. This makes her the most well liked member for most of the group. She is wary of Racquelle but gets along well with everyone else and often insists on dressing them up, especially Jenny. Zoey enjoys Tomo’s company due to their similar interests and Jenny’s because of her calming presence and baked goods. Her dominating presence serves useful in keeping the rebellious of the group in line and maintaining order and peace within the apartment.

– Colleagues/Associates:- Zoey is friendly but professional at the same time. She makes her boundaries clear and prefers to keep work and life separate. She despises meeting people from work on weekends and does not partake in any social events hosted by her business partners unless it is necessary to form contacts. She is often described as a chill yet strict employer.

– Romantic relationships:- Given her popularity, Zoey often hung out with the hottest guys and girls of the school. Mostly to boost her own ego and popularity. She had 4 boyfriends who weren’t serious. In her junior year of university, Zoey developed a one sided crush on a married professor and experienced her first heartbreak. She doesn’t think much about love or relationships since she can easily get whoever she is attracted to. Her exes describe her as a workaholic.

• Powers:-

Plant control and object manipulation.

At the age of 12, Zoey discovered her powers after an embarrassing accident leaving her scarred and she ended up suppressing her powers. At some point, she came to the conclusion that her powers made her better than humans so she started practicing in secret to use it to start rumours and bully others.

Currently, she can bloom plants and change the shape of inanimate objects to the best of her ability but she has the potential to age plants and change the matter of inanimate objects and possibly live humans too. However, this would require a lot of mana but with Megan’s help Zoey learns to build strength for more practice.

Within the apartment, she is often sought out by Chelsea to make her plants age a little faster. She is also able to manipulate objects in order to change the environment and make certain situations easier for her to handle.

• Hobbies/Likes:-

After a heated discussion with her parents and getting her credit card snatched, Zoey decided to stay at her boyfriend’s house and worked as a part time yoga instructor in high school. She got along with the old women and visits the yoga place from time to time to catch up with her friends.

Her favourite things are jewelry and high heels. She believes any outfit can be upgraded with these. Zoey loves a well packaged gift and handmade gifts. She is not a big foodie but her favourite food is anything baked by Jenny. Her favourite drink is ice cold passion fruit cocktail on a sunny afternoon at the beach.

Finally done with Zoeys character sheet. I love her and she is my favourite character but I was so tired writing this :” the amount of times I forgot to save my draft….. I almost threw my phone against the wall.

Anyways, this was Zoey. My favourite character. I have imagined her personality to grow in so many different ways. As a kid, this was the most complex character I came up with. She has the best arc and is the most interesting to me. Zoey is such an extrovert, it was hard to come up with all the hobbies she could enjoy lol. I think the most challenging part was to live up to my own expectations of writing a complex character. It’s hard to put layers of all that personality into words, idk how writers do it honestly. This made me really appreciate authors. I used to only do puppet shows with these characters in mind lol.

It is currently 3 a.m. and I have been losing sleep over writing a character sheet hahaha. I won’t have the time to look back on this but I hope future me will still find this and have fun reading it.
