Can I be a ranger? like one of the ones from rangers apprentice if any of y'all have read that book. here is a description- A ranger is an expert at silent moving. They report directly to the king, and are experts at hiding. Rangers wear mottled cloaks that hide their presence, and practice with a bow and arrow till they never miss. Rangers have special horses that understand how to move silently. There is a code word to get on these horses and if you don't whisper it they will throw you off. The horses are very intelligent and give warning signs when an enemy is nearby. Rangers can stay still for days if need be, and are camouflage legends. A ranger is basically a spy for the king. Each ranger also controls a fief.

Cursed Technique Explanation: The user of ‘Powering On” can use a small amount of cursed energy to move up to 1 meter facing forward. While moving, nothing will be able to stop or hinder their movement. They can change speed with cursed energy, which can be used evasively or offensively. The technique has two states; the lapse “Forward Power” or “Positive Movement, and the reversal “Backwards Power” or “Negative Movement”. This requires extreme skill and cursed energy manipulation to proficiently use Powering On. The user’s body will become completely resistant to all injuries, which may help going through solid objects. The technique works by slightly lifting the user off the ground with cursed energy by coming off the user’s feet just enough to have no friction, then pointing the output forwards or backwards, inturn moving the user in the respective direction. It will do that while adding mass to the user’s body much like the “Star Rage” technique. There is no way for the user to add mass to their body when not moving.
Domain Expansion: “Checkmate”
Domain Expansion Explanation: When opening “Checkmate”, the user and the opponent are transferred to a giant chessboard. This board measures 8 meters on all sides with each square being 1 meter. The user can move any direction for 2 squares on this board but the opponent may only move one. Everyone in the domain is allowed 5 minutes to make a move, the same time as a move in chess. If the user can get in front of their opponent, the domain will close and the user will obtain “The Queen’s Blade”. The Queen’s Blade is a sword with a queen chess piece as a hilt, and a 2 foot blade made of iron and engulfed in cursed energy. Only the user who won in the domain may hold this, otherwise it is too heavy. The user gets this tool for 1 hour after the domain closes. Nothing happens if the opponent wins.
Backstory: Hotaka Kusakabe was born on July 7th 2002. Her family was involved in the jujutsu community, so she was well trained on her ability. She had trouble controlling her movement at first, but with years of training she became very fluent in this movement. In 2016, she joined the Tokyo Metropolitan Curse College, and in 2018 graduated to third year.
Author notes: for the stories sake, Hotaka doesn’t know RCT yet, but will at some point in the MAIN storyline, which leads me to how I want this series to continue. The main storyline will stop BEFORE the Shibuya Incident (TSI), the secondary storyline will include Kanato and Hotaka in the Shibuya Incident. I’m doing this because the series wouldn’t be too long without it, but if I continue the main story into TSI, it interferes even more with canon than it already does by interacting with Canon Characters. The secondary story may either go into the culling games, or stop and I will start YET ANOTHER storyline including our MC’s in the games. The whole story MAY come to an end at the end (or maybe even during) the culling games. I say “may” because while it will be hard continuing the storyline when Gege Akutami stopped the series, it will include no canon interactions. Maybe I can even continue the series with a new MC for the numerous fans of the series. I haven’t even figured out where I’ll post this, so I am currently writing to no one, but hey, maybe the future readers will see this and say “Hey, I’m reading this!”
