Savenport is the name of a fictional city where video games and game consoles are brought to life. Think of basically any console-tied video game, and it has a clever allegory in this universe. One of your favorite games could be translated as some famous restaurant that characters love eating at. In this city, they have a high school known as Savenport High. The students that roam the hallways and are the central characters of the universe are personified video game consoles, like the PlayStation 2 or Nintendo Switch. Rather than literally being game consoles if they were humans, they are regular and ordinary humans that happen to LOOK like personified game systems. Everything they do and say is totally human and normal. Actual video games and gaming as a whole do not exist in this universe. Savenport High has cliques, popular kids, nerdy kids, smart kids, bullies, everybody in the book pretty much.
